Project Overview
The Corrymeela Community, a Northern Ireland-based peace and reconciliation organisation, is seeking an integrated communications, PR, and digital agency or practitioner to redevelop its website and create a stronger digital content and storytelling strategy.
The project goes beyond a website redesign. Corrymeela wants the new site to become a “Digital Corrymeela Welcome”—a welcoming, accessible and narrative-led platform that extends its peacebuilding mission online, strengthens engagement with supporters and younger audiences, supports campaigns, and increases one-time and recurring donations.
Scope of Work (Requirements)
The selected agency will be expected to cover:
Digital & Content Strategy
- Develop a digital messaging framework.
- Create a comprehensive content strategy aligned with Corrymeela’s values.
- Strengthen storytelling across the website, email newsletters and social media.
- Develop a campaign-oriented approach to digital communications.
- Create clear calls-to-action and user journeys focused on engagement and fundraising.
Website Redevelopment & UX
- Redevelop the existing website.
- Create a welcoming, intuitive and narrative-driven user experience.
- Develop a campaign-oriented homepage that can be updated easily.
- Improve mobile responsiveness and digital accessibility.
- Structure content around key audiences, campaigns and engagement journeys.
- Enable seamless interactions for events, donations and enquiries.
CRM & Digital Platform Integration
A major part of the project is integration with Corrymeela’s existing digital ecosystem, including:
- Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT for CRM and automated donor/contact data flows.
- Existing native and third-party fundraising platforms.
- Event booking systems.
- Subscription systems.
- Enquiry capture systems.
The agency must demonstrate experience integrating external platforms such as Blackbaud NXT into website environments.
Training & Handover
- Provide onboarding documentation.
- Train Corrymeela staff to manage the website.
- Train staff to monitor relevant integrations.
- Provide options for ongoing website maintenance.
- Offer ongoing critical communications advice.
Potential Future Development
Advanced community features such as member login dashboards and community forums may be considered as a later development phase rather than part of the core project.
