Project Overview
Manarat Association for Community Services, based in Fredericton, New Brunswick, is seeking an individual consultant or firm to design and launch a new website and provide ongoing administration and technical support for its internal digital systems. The engagement combines an initial website build with recurring technology support through December 2027, covering website maintenance, security, email and productivity platforms, online forms, and other digital tools used by the organization.
Scope of Work (Requirements)
The selected consultant or firm will be responsible for:
Website Design & Development
- Design and develop a modern, accessible, mobile-responsive website
- Configure domain and hosting, where required
- Implement an appropriate CMS, with WordPress preferred
- Create a clean, user-friendly interface aligned with Manarat’s branding
- Optimize website accessibility and performance
- Implement basic SEO
- Configure SSL, backups, and website security
Website Functionality
- Volunteer registration forms
- Event registration
- Contact forms
- Newsletter subscriptions
- Social media integration
- Photo and video galleries
- Downloadable documents
- Donation functionality or third-party donation integration
- Simple content management for Manarat staff
Internal Digital Systems Support
The consultant will also provide as-needed technical support through December 2027, including:
- Website maintenance and troubleshooting
- Software and plugin updates
- Security monitoring and backup management
- Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration
- Email setup and account management
- Support for digital collaboration tools
- Online form and registration system integrations
- Recommendations for digital tools that improve organizational operations
- Other technology support requested during the contract
