Project Overview
The Addison Township Democratic Organization (ATDO) is seeking a website developer to enhance and refresh its existing website by improving its design, navigation, user experience, and engagement. Rather than a complete rebuild, the project focuses on modernizing the current website while maintaining an affordable, sustainable platform that can be easily managed by volunteers. The refreshed site will better communicate ATDO’s mission, showcase candidates and community initiatives, and encourage volunteer participation, donations, and event attendance.
Scope of Work (Requirements)
The selected vendor will provide website enhancement services, including:
Discovery & Planning
- Review the existing website
- Identify opportunities for improvement
- Conduct a planning meeting with ATDO leadership
- Recommend an improved site structure and navigation
Website Design & User Experience
- Refresh the homepage design
- Improve typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy
- Enhance branding and calls-to-action
- Reorganize content for easier navigation
Content & Engagement
- Create templates for candidate profiles
- Develop leadership profile templates
- Improve event calendar visibility
- Enhance the news and blog section
- Integrate existing organizational photography
Technical Enhancements
- Optimize the website for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Implement basic SEO best practices
- Perform quality assurance and functionality testing before launch
Training & Support
- Conduct one administrator training session
- Provide documentation for website management
- Deliver 30 days of post-launch support for minor fixes
