Project Overview
The Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF), a Geneva-based international nonprofit foundation, is seeking an SEO and Website Optimisation Consultant or Agency to strengthen its digital visibility and search presence. The engagement focuses on improving SEO performance, website discoverability, AI-powered search visibility, audience engagement, and digital communications effectiveness. GCERF aims to position itself more prominently as a trusted global authority in preventing violent extremism (PVE) and community resilience initiatives.
Scope of Work (Requirements)
The selected consultant or agency will support GCERF through two potential phases:
Phase 1 – SEO & Website Optimisation (June–July 2026)
- Review website structure, content, metadata, keywords, and SEO performance
- Identify technical SEO and on-page optimisation improvements
- Improve indexing of webpages, publications, podcasts, and news content
- Increase organic traffic and search rankings
- Review GCERF visibility across Generative AI platforms and AI-powered search tools
- Improve structured content, metadata, internal linking, and digital discoverability
- Recommend methods to improve AI-generated summaries and references
- Review website analytics and recommend KPIs and reporting frameworks
Tentative Phase 2 – Digital Visibility & Engagement (September–December 2026)
- Improve searchability and shareability of digital content
- Recommend keyword strategies, tags, summaries, and links
- Identify and map key stakeholder audiences online
- Review newsletter engagement and email marketing performance
- Improve podcast discoverability and cross-platform promotion
- Recommend digital advertising strategies for events and campaigns
- Provide audience targeting and campaign performance guidance

- SEO audit and digital visibility assessment
- Practical SEO improvement roadmap
- AI visibility and discoverability action plan
- Analytics and reporting recommendations
- Newsletter, podcast, and content optimisation guidance
- Final presentation summarizing findings and recommendations
