Project Overview
OneFeather, an Indigenous technology company serving First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities across Canada, is seeking a digital partner to lead the redesign and redevelopment of its primary corporate website.
The new website will serve as a modern digital platform that communicates OneFeather’s mission, services, and impact while supporting engagement with Indigenous communities, partners, and stakeholders. The project aims to deliver a refreshed design, improved user experience, stronger storytelling, and a scalable technical foundation that reflects the organization’s role in advancing digital sovereignty and community empowerment.
Scope of Work (Requirements)
The selected vendor will be responsible for strategy, design, development, and implementation of the new website, including:
Discovery & Strategy
- Conduct stakeholder and user discovery
- Define site architecture and user journeys
- Align the website with OneFeather’s brand, mission, and services
UX/UI Design
- Develop modern visual designs aligned with the organization’s brand
- Create wireframes, design concepts, and prototypes
- Ensure accessibility and responsive design across devices
Website Development
- Build the new website using a scalable and maintainable CMS
- Implement responsive, mobile-first functionality
- Optimize performance and load speed
Content & Messaging
- Structure content to clearly communicate services such as digital voting, governance tools, identity solutions, and community engagement platforms
- Improve storytelling and navigation for different audiences
SEO & Analytics
- Implement SEO best practices
- Configure analytics tools and performance tracking
- Improve search visibility and engagement metrics
Testing & Launch
- Perform quality assurance and cross-device testing
- Support launch and deployment
- Provide documentation and training for internal staff
