Project Overview

Happy Camp Community Action, Inc. (HCCA) is seeking an experienced marketing and branding partner to develop a comprehensive Marketing Plan, Outreach Strategy, and core marketing materials for the Happy Camp Biomass Campus Project. The initiative supports a multi-facility biomass development that includes a specialty sawmill, wood wool cement pilot facility, and bioenergy equipment.

The goal is to position the project for long-term success by building awareness, supporting customer acquisition, engaging investors and funders, and strengthening communication with partners and the local community.

Scope of Work (Requirements)

The selected consultant will deliver strategy and execution support across several areas:

Marketing Strategy & Positioning

  • Develop a clear marketing plan with goals, positioning, messaging framework, and implementation roadmap
  • Define value propositions and address potential risks through tailored messaging

Audience Identification & Segmentation

  • Develop targeted strategies for customers, investors/funders, partners, and community stakeholders

Branding & Identity Concepts

  • Create branding concepts for three potential business names
  • Deliver multiple logo and identity directions with revision cycles

Communications & Outreach Strategy

  • Recommend communication channels, media approach, partnerships, and community engagement tactics
  • Develop a 12–24 month communications calendar

Marketing Materials Development

  • Investor/funder pitch deck
  • Customer-facing fact sheet
  • Investor/funder summary
  • Website content outline and copy drafts
  • Press release template and media talking points
  • Social media starter kit
  • Lightweight brand and visual guidelines

Implementation Roadmap & Metrics

  • Phased rollout plan, KPIs, and recommendations for future campaigns

All deliverables must be provided in fully editable formats and go through a draft–review–final approval process.
